Privacy Policy for Brain puzzles

This Privacy Policy explains how the Android application Brain puzzles (the "App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information. It applies to the App worldwide. By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described below.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The current version of Brain puzzles does not ask you to create an account and does not intentionally collect or transmit the following information to us:

• Your name, postal address, phone number, or date of birth;
• Contacts, call logs, messages, photos, videos, or files;
• Precise or approximate device location;
• Camera, microphone, health, financial, payment, or government-identification data;
• Passwords, authentication information, or advertising identifiers; or
• Personalized advertising profiles or cross-app tracking data.

The App currently includes no advertising, social-login, behavioral-tracking, or third-party analytics SDK.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide gameplay and offline functionality, the App stores limited game information in the App's private storage area on your device, including:

• Unlocked and completed level numbers;
• Scores, coins, stars, moves, mistakes, and hints used;
• Game preferences and progress status;
• A cached copy of the remote level catalog; and
• Downloaded puzzle and Brain Master images.

This local gameplay information is not transmitted to us. It normally remains on your device until you clear the App's storage or uninstall the App.

3. Network Requests and Technical Data

The App uses an internet connection to check for and download new levels from our content-hosting infrastructure. When your device requests a catalog or image, the hosting provider may automatically process ordinary technical request information such as your IP address, request date and time, requested file, network response status, and basic device or user-agent information. This processing is necessary to deliver content, maintain security, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.

We do not use these requests for personalized advertising, do not build advertising profiles from them, and do not sell them. The App remains playable with previously bundled or cached levels when remote content is unavailable.

4. Contact and Support Emails

If you contact us voluntarily, we receive your email address and any information you include in your message. We use it only to respond, provide support, investigate issues, protect the App, or meet legal obligations. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your request.

5. How We Use Information

Where any information is processed, it is used only to:

• Operate, maintain, and provide the App and its levels;
• Save progress and enable offline gameplay on your device;
• Deliver new game content and troubleshoot download failures;
• Respond to support and privacy requests;
• Protect the App, users, and infrastructure from fraud, abuse, and security threats; and
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our legal rights.

6. Legal Bases for EEA and UK Users

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, essential content delivery, service security, support, and reliability are processed on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the App, or to take steps you request when contacting us. We do not currently conduct optional advertising or analytics processing that requires consent. Where consent is legally required for a future feature, we will request it before that processing begins.

7. Service Providers and Disclosure

We use service providers only as needed to distribute the App and deliver remote game content:

• Cloudflare Pages, for hosting and delivering level catalogs and images. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
• GitHub, as source hosting and a technical content fallback where available. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
• Google Play, for App distribution, updates, security, reviews, and store services. Google's processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

These providers may process technical information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or valid government requests; protect rights, safety, and security; investigate fraud or abuse; or complete a lawful business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

8. No Sale or Behavioral Advertising

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or profiling, and we do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information. This statement is intended to address concepts used in laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar US state privacy laws.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

• Local App data: retained on your device until you clear App storage or uninstall the App.
• Support correspondence: generally retained only as long as needed to resolve the request, maintain reasonable support records, or satisfy legal and security obligations, and ordinarily no longer than 24 months.
• Provider technical logs: retained by Cloudflare, GitHub, or Google according to their own retention practices and policies.

Because Brain puzzles has no user accounts and we do not receive your local game progress, we normally cannot remotely identify or delete data stored only on your device. You can delete that data through Android's "Clear storage" control or by uninstalling the App. To request deletion of support correspondence or other information you believe we hold, contact us at the address below.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information handled by the App. Remote content is requested over HTTPS, and game progress and cached content are stored in the App's private device storage. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may operate globally, so technical request data may be processed outside your country. Where required, such providers are responsible for using lawful transfer mechanisms and appropriate safeguards under their applicable privacy obligations.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, including the EEA, United Kingdom, California, Brazil, India, and other jurisdictions, you may have rights to request information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, objection, or appeal, and to lodge a complaint with a privacy regulator. You may exercise applicable rights by emailing us. We may need limited information to verify and process a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Because we generally do not collect account or gameplay data, we may have no identifiable information to provide in response to some requests.

13. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children and does not provide accounts, chat, public posting, advertising, or behavioral tracking. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent personal information to us through a support email, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate. Users below the age at which they may independently consent to data processing in their country should use the App with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

This Policy applies only to Brain puzzles. Third-party stores, websites, operating-system services, and provider pages are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their independent privacy practices.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when App features, providers, laws, or Google Play requirements change. We will post the revised policy at this location and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated in the App or store listing when legally required.
